how do i place php on my website?

Here are the instructions I’m trying to follow:
•At this step you should already have purchased hosting with FTP access, MySQL4 (or MySQL5) and PHP5 installed, and registered a domain for your store
•Choose the store in drop down menu and download scripts by clicking on “Download” button
•In MySQL administration area of hosting panel create database (choose any available name, for example, “storedata”)
(This is the part where I’m stuck)
•Unpack and upload downloaded files in directory on the server where site’s files should be stored
•Make sure your domain points to this directory
•In browser window, enter URL of your new site (for example http://www.yoursite.com) to launch installator
•Follow all installation steps and fix any errors that may appear
•Enjoy your own online store!
•To enter admin panel, add /admin/ to main URL address (for example http://www.yoursite.com/admin/) and log in using login/password you use for affiliate panel
I have all the files needed I just need to know how to place them or if anyone could place them FOR ME that’d be even better.

It looks like this self installs, once you have used your hosting company’s control panel to setup the database, you usually use an FTP utility program to upload the installer package to the root of your site, navigating to your site activates the installer: “In browser window, enter URL of your new site (for example http://www.yoursite.com) to launch installer”

Hi point recap:
(if you have separate domain company, see that domain nameserver setting provided by your hosting company are entered in your domainer account)
assuming you have a regular lenux shared hosting service with mysql database:
your hosting control panel should have a “create database” form.
A separate FTP program requiring hosting ftp account name & password to be entered is usually used to upload files, occasionally hosts provide browser based file transfer, but it’s highly limited.

Need help from an experienced web designer?

I am a web designer but I have no experience and I need your help with these issues :

1-When I purchased my domain on goddady.com they asked me to put a pin code in order to verify the domain, I have the code but they say error..bla bla bla..we are working on it….Shall I email goddady.com and tell them?

2-I have never worked with goddady.com before, so before creating the website I’m creating the mailbox and they asked you if you want to create a spam filter, I was wondering what you think about that, because if I set the spam filter at a very high level, I will protect my mail but many emails will be marked as spams even if they aren’t, if I set a low spam filter, I will receive every email but spams may go through my inbox. So what you do?

3-I have not created this website, so I would like to ask you about the content:

I have some posts on blogspot but I think If I post them on my new website, people will not look at it, because it’s about proving that 2012 is a lie and proving that USA made UFOs…I think that in order to get money you should tell people how to make money, so I think that I should tell people 50 different ways to make money online and sell them an ebook, what do you think? I have a website with GDI but it’s not working because you should invite people to join you in order to get money and the people that I know, think that making money online is a lie and they are not interested. 1. Ask help from GoDaddy representatives.

2. You don’t have to use GoDaddy email for personal or work use..It is just an additional feature. You can receive mails from Godaddy on your existing email address and you can set up email addresses for your websites not hosted in godaddy. It is really a personal choice. Known email clients like Gmail will help you fight spam but at the same time get the mails you really need and want.

3. Reading the content of your blog is a matter of what kind of readers you will have. Not all readers are interested in the same niche. We have different opinions and interest. So your topic about 2012 and UFO will generate readers that are interested about it too. But surely it is not a large volume of readers.

Yeah sure that you can make a ebook about making money so you can make money too. But to be sucessful on selling this ebook you should know by heart how to sell and make money so people will testify that it works and it is worth buying.

If you are into affiliate marketing you need a great deal of creativity and marketing ideas to pull through it. You need to invest time to build up a convincing sales page and build links pointing to your sales page, and a very effective marketing campaign. Earning money from affiliate marketing does not happen in one night.

You may also want to consider creating a blog for a productive niche and put Google Ads on it. You can get Google ads by signing in Google Adsense but you should apply with a website that already have a lot of existing content and not a new one.

Hello can I redelegate my (.com.au) domain name to my geocites pro sevice , webhosting?

Recently I have been trying to build a website. I started a yahoo7 thought it was a good option. during my journey I ended up creating a website via Geocities.com. I payed for a geocities pro service. I thought this was great! Then just the other day I realised that it was amercan based web hosting. I could get a (.com.au) domain name. So I payed for one via a local Australian company, and now I am just mystified what to do. On the geocities service they say I can redelegate my domain name to be hosted by them. I have no idea how to do this or even if I can. Yahoo help says they only register .com or .net or .biz or .com.us but they say nothing about redelegated .
I have tried all over the yahoo sit to find someone I can email. but that was to no avail. I tried to find a local phone number for yahoo but no.All I get is US phone no. Itried ringing the company Melbourne IT who are affiliated with yahoo. they gave me a us phone number country code 1 then 800 3180783,Is that no. a freecal

Firstly, give up trying to email yahoo. It’s very rare to get hold of someone that works there.

Right in order to move your domain name you need to add the domain in your Geocities Pro account so that their webservers will answer all requests to your domain.

Next you need to obtain Geocities’s nameserver address’s – SOMETHING LIKE ns1.geocities.com and ns2.geocities.com (NOTE: Those could be real I do not know – however Geo’s NS’s should be something like it). You must use TWO (2) NameServer address’s for ANY domain name transfer. If you only supply one the registrar will not allow it to move. This is a global requirement and all hosts will operate AT LEAST 2 nameservers. Many now operate 3 or 4.

Once you know the address’s you need to log into your registrar (where you registered the domain) and change the nameservers to those address’s. You should look for an option that says “Change nameservers” or “Update DNS” etc. If in doubt refer to your registrars help pages.

If all else fails, then create an ‘A’ record in the DNS for your domain and put in the Geocities server IP that your website is hosted on. Of course if you choose the A record option you MUST still add the domain to your account in Geo Pro – The server needs to know who’s account it belongs to.

With regards to Geocities only registering ‘.com or .net or .biz or .com.us’ you do not need to worry. That is all that THEY REGISTER however it is not a limit of domains that they will accept. Many web hosting companies will only register a limited amount of domain extensions however most will HOST almost ANY domain that you can transfer to their servers.

Once you have transfered the domain to their servers you need to allow a maximum of 72 hours for global propagation – Where DNS servers flush their cache and re-index the domain names from their parent server.

Once your domain is on the new server do not worry if you want to change host again – You can log back into your registrar and change the nameservers again – You still have overall control of the domain (so if yahoo offer to re-register it for you when it expires you are under no obligation).

I really want to make six or more figures a year online. I have two online business ideas. I am not sure if any of you think any one or both of these online business ideas could work and make me six or more figures a year. The ideas are…..

Idea 1- Since I enjoy songwriting and have some knowledge, I could create a website where I write articles, how-to‘s, review, etc. about song writing. Once I get a lot of traffic, I could find relevant affiliate programs and put ads, adsense, and affiliate products on my site to monetize. Do you think this online business idea could make me six or more figures a year online?

Idea 2- This is a straight-foward online business idea. I recently researched and found that office furniture is a billion dollar industry. My online business idea is to wholesale and drop ship (from a reliable drop shipper) office chairs and sell them on my website. I would do lots of advertising to get visitors to my site. I would price the products so I make a decent profit, but stay within the range of my competitors. Although there are some competitors already (since it is impossible to find a niche without competitors), I don’t think it will be that big of a problem. I heard a kid (Sean Belnick from www.bizchair.com) makes 10 million dollars a year from selling office chairs. I like this idea better than the first one and think it is more profitable, but do you think this online business idea could make me six or more figures a year?

Does anyone think any of these online business ideas could make me six or more figures a year? Thanks for your help!

How does selling internet marketing information products work?

I have internet marketing information products which allows me full resale license. I have a few question in regards to how exactly does this work? Why would someone allow me to resell their product and not get a commission and i keep all the profit. I understand that this how affiliate marketing works where you get a commission. If a lot of people buy the same product wouldn’t that dilute the product everywhere on the internet. Why would someone buy from my website if they can get that somewhere else? I wanted to create websites to sell these products now I’m not too sure after talking to my sister she doesn’t think it is a good idea as she says why don’t you create your own product? Why do people let you a resale license and master resale license rights to their product, how does it benefit them?

The simple answer is they made money off you when you bought. They don’t care if you resell it. 99% of people have more dreams than follow-through. Most people will talk about building a website and selling a product but very few will ever get around to doing it.

Some people are good at creating and others are good at marketing. Play to your strengths.
