You can use http://vixy.net/ to convert the flash video which is on youtube to an AVI. You should then be able to open the AVI file with Movie Maker. Hope this helps.

Editing Youtube videos on Windows Movie Maker?

Hi everybody-
I’m trying to edit a Youtube video on Windows Movie Maker for a project. I downloaded it and I have no problem with the compatibility or anything… I just want to know how I could edit text and pictures in the video, while keeping the style the same. (I’ve seen people post parodies on Youtube, with the same format as the original)

For example, I just downloaded the opening theme song for a show called Criminal Minds. For my project, I want to keep everything the same, except change the title name to Elemental Minds, and put in pictures of me instead of pictures of the characters from the show.
