Better Than Registry Fix Programs | I Need Help With My Computer Getting The Blue Screen Of Death…?
i constantly get the error code: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. i have looked into it some, but i figured it would be of more aid to me if i explained my situation. i have been getting these errors for awhile now, i used to have a 100gb hard drive with windows xp installed on it, and i got the errors so much that i ended up having to get a new hard drive cause the old one went bad. now i have a 250gb western digital hd, the old one was the same generous as this one, just smaller, and i have windows 7 installed on the new hd. the model of laptop i have is a gateway mx8710. my computer is capable of running windows 7. i have 2gb of ram that i have always had on the computer. i dont have a battery, so i have to run it plugged in at all times. i have cleaned the registry more times than i can count, with all kinds of different registry cleaning programs. i just want to get this problem fixed before this hd ends up going bad also… any aid would be greatly appreciated. i have a pretty good understanding of fixing computers, i have fixed a good bit of computers, i plan on going to school for it actually, but this is something i havent been able to fix.i forgot to mention, it crashes quite a bit, and the times it crashes differs each time. but it always seems to crash when my little brother tries to run the sims 3, it will allow the game to play for about 10-30 minutes, then it crashes. and it seems to crash when i leave it on for awhile. or if im playing music for a good little bit. but sometimes it can go for days without crashing.and ive been getting the blue screens even since ive installed windows 7 on the new hard drive, i never did a hard shutdown until after i got the blue screen again on the new hard drive, the just time i do hard shutdowns is when i get the blue screen, cause i have my settings for it not to restart, that way i could see what the error code was.

Sims 3 crashes the system because it is not compatible for running and the lap top does not meet the games minimum system requirements. The hard shut downs from holding down the power button cause system files to become corrupt causing the BSOD.
Fix, use the recovery / install disc set do a system repair or re install.
