Better Than Registry Fix Programs | I Think I Have A Complicated Malware/virus Problem, How Can I Fix My Computer?

By admin | June 19, 2011

Right, here’s my problem (I’m not good with computer terminology so I’ll do my best!)I think I have some sort of virus or spyware on my computer, but repeated virus searches don’t fix the problem. I’m currently running Ad-Aware, AVG Virus Search, SpyBot Search and Destroy, CWShredder and SuperAntiSpyware but none of them seem to fix the problem. What is happening is: 1. Whenever I try to open www.google.com, i get a message telling me that ‘my query is similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spy ware application’. I have followed the guidelines on how to fix this problem, but nothing has worked yet.2. When I do manage to get access to Google (via my google toolbar) and I search for something (e.g. ‘wikipedia’) the links that it finds for me don’t take me to the page that it is supposed to. Instead, I find myself on other webpages with search boxes on them, with my search query typed in. For example, one page was called ‘http://team-circumstance.info’, and they all seem to mention ‘blinx videos’.3. All links to other pages, even ones I have visited before, load REALLY slowly. My web connection insists that I am running at between 200 and 300 mbps, which seems like it should be a lot faster than it very is.4. When I noticed this problem, I ran an AVG 8.0 free edition scan of my whole computer, and it almost always ended up bringing up the ‘blue screen of death’ part way through. This then restarted my computer, forcing me to turn it off manually. However, if I pressed ALT + TAB while the blue screen or the restarting screen was there, it minimised the screen and presented me with my desktop, AVG still scanning. On the small grey box that appears when you press ALT + TAB, this mystery program appeared as a computer screen with a blue screen and white writing on it.5. If the ‘blue screen’ problem described above doesn’t occur, then AVG will suddenly encounter a problem when it scans, telling me that the components aren’t functioning and that I am unprotected. Then, however, it carries on scanning and restarts the components until they are all up and running. This always happens close to the beginning of the scan, possibly while it is scanning the system registry. If anybody has any idea what has happened and how to get rid of it then it would be much appreciated, if any experts out there need any more information then just give me a shout. Thanks in advance.

Install portable version of ClamWin anti-virus in a USB pen drive and scan your PC with it. Use another clean PC to download Clamwin portable anti-virus and install it on a USB pen drive. Download here http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/clamwin_portable Document on how to configure ClamWin http://support.real-time.com/open-source/clamwin/index.html 1) Start Clamwin anti-virus and update the latest anti-virus definition files. 2)Select the devices menu bar, set the preferences to remove virus. 3)Start the infected PC in safe mode by pressing F8 during start up. 4) Run the Clamwin Anti-virus that is installed on the USB pen drive to scan the infected PC. 5)After removing the virus, install crap cleaner (ccleaner) to get rid of the viruses left over setting in the windows registry. http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/CCleaner-Download-8851.html

You may have to download the removal devices with their most current updates, plus the Microsoft and web browser updaters on another computer, and burn them to CD or copy them to a USB Memory stick to bring to this computer, as the virus/trojan will try to block updating.

Run the cleaner programs in Safe Mode (hit the F8 function key as the machine boots up, and choose Safe mode)

Turn off System Restore on your computer, just until you get this resolved, since many of these trojans end up copied into the System Restore area, which virus programs aren’t allowed to touch. My Computer > Properties > System Restore.

Download this cleaning device (not an active scanner)

Try an online scanner like Trend Micro also try running your scanners from Safe Mode

Try booting your operating system in the safe mode… To do this you will have to press F8 key while the system boots and from the menu select Safe Mode..

Once you are in the safe mode do the entire scanning process utilizing all the security devices you mentioned in your question…

This might solve the problem… I would suggest you to get a decent anti-virus (like McAfee / Symantec) and do the virus scan…

One more crude way to solve the problem temporarily is to open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc key and go to Process and select any suspicious process and end the process… “You will have to do this every time you boot the system”.

As you have mentioned it is a complex issue…

Search for mcafee stinger and download it, once it`s downloaded open it up and go into the settings.Tick the all scan and delete files boxes and then let it run.If it finds anything it will let you know.If this doesnt work download windows live 1 care 80 day trial and let that find it.I have been running this on three computers for 2 years now and never had a problem.

Blue screen treatment, you can refer to
